Human Resources & Payroll
In this office I assist all new hires with their employee paperwork, new enrollments, and the open enrollment periods for existing employees. I work with the employee benefits throughout the year and process all the payrolls. I file the quarterly taxes, W2’s, and 1099’s. I keep record of all the deduction amounts and make payments associated with the County’s payroll. I am here to help answer any employee questions or concerns about their policies and assist them in contacting the right office and/or resources if necessary. Insurance agents, policies, and payroll options are constantly changing. This office is here to assist the employee, the County, and the insurance agents with enrollment and billing for the Nance County Employees.
Budget & Finance
I am here to aid each County office when they fill out their monthly claims. I process the claims every month to learn about each office’s expenses. This process helps me find County savings for each department when it is time to work on and determine the budget from year to year. I carefully monitor the transfers and expenses for the County during the budget cycle. I attend workshops and training associated with County budget work and strive to stay on top of legislature changes. I work closely with the County Board and the department heads to complete the annual budget process, work on special projects, financial projections, comparisons, etc.
